WHO WE ARE . . .

WNY Ghost Hunters was established to collect paranormal evidence at the Buffalo Central Terminal, and other historical locations around the Western New York area. Our dedicated group of volunteers are also active members of the "Friends of the Terminal" membership program. We contribute our time to help restore and clean up the Terminal, so all will be able to take part in paranormal investigations at the Terminal. Also, the WNYGH is the main group involved in helping to coordinate and run all paranormal events that may be held at the Terminal in the near future.

Our group is made up of many hard-working individuals with all different backgrounds who are interested in both historical locations and the paranormal. We also investigate other historical buildings in and around the Western New York area. We respect every location we investigate as well as any spirits that may reside there. We never trespass at a location and only come when invited. We also only us electronic equipment at investigations, and will not use Ouija boards. Being that it is unfair to say we can help rid out spirits at homes, we do not do residential locations at this time.

OUR GOAL . . .

Our main goal is to help coordinate paranormal events at the Terminal so everyone will be able to come in and investigate the terminal for paranormal activity. We believe that holding paranormal events at the Terminal will be a major step forward in helping to fund the building restoration projects.

Our other goal is collect and share evidence of paranormal activity at the Terminal. The paranormal activity at the Buffalo Central Terminal is still virtually untapped. No investigations have ever been held at the Terminal, and the only evidence collected has been from TAPS. And by the looks of the evidence they collected, we have only scratched the surface of what is still living within those walls!

We will use this website as an outlet to display all evidence we collect at the Terminal and will also welcome everyone's opinions on the evidence. The evidence will only be considered paranormal if no logical explanation can be found. We will never try to hoax evidence or push something off as paranormal evidence that can very well be explained. Kind of like orbs. Orbs is dust, and dust is orbs! And the Terminal is very dusty!

WNYGH is always looking for dedicated volunteers to assist in our efforts. If you feel you can contribute to our cause, please check out the Join Us page for more information. Before applying, please remember, we are more than just Ghost Hunters. Along with investigations, we require that you attend the groups meetings, volunteer some of your time helping to clean up the Terminal, and also help out in working paranormal events that may be held at the Terminal in 2009. Those events will run on the weekends and will last well in to the late night - early mornings. Finally, you must be 18 years of age or older to join.
